LAWYER 2B Law For Non-Law - Careers Evening
Many thanks to everyone who attended the Law For Non-Law careers event in London on 16 January 2014 – we hope you had a pleasant and productive evening.
The event included presentations from the University of Law, the law firms RPC, DLA Piper and Shearman & Sterling, and barristers from Henderson Chambers, covering the routes into law from a non-law background, why non-law candidates are attractive to recruiters and how non-law students can get ahead.
In a number of inspirational workshops, lawyers and trainees from non-law backgrounds spoke about their experiences of what life in law is like.
Meanwhile, the informal mini law fair gave attendees an opportunity to network and engage with the graduate recruitment teams, trainees, barristers and education providers over drinks and snacks.
